Our Opportunity:

 

Our ability to interpret and communicate key business and pricing information is central to sustaining a strong business performance, and we have the opportunity to bring a new role into our business with this key focus.  

 

We are seeking a commercially minded candidate with early career accounting experience, that has utilised BI tools to deliver business insights and information across a business.

 

Reporting to our Commercial Finance Manager, the role will partner with many areas of the business to provide and promote key business and pricing information to stakeholders and support technology that maximises the efficiency of distributing information. 

 

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

 

  • Implement ad hoc and regular report development and improve communication of key business drivers.
  • Understand, analyse and provide information relating to pricing, margin and inner margin to support business decisions
  • Support development of suite of BI Reports, tools and delivery mechanisms to ensure relevant accurate information is available to TSM’s
  • Provide regular insight into financial & non-financial performance of business, including categories, channels, and Brands
  • Work closely with Senior Management Team to further develop KPI identification, measurement and reporting.
  • Ensure that Reporting, BI, KPI development is in line with Australian Finance Team
  • Keep up to date with and phase in changes provided by Australian team and integrate into reporting suite.

 

The successful candidate will have:

 

  • Experience in BI Tools, and providing Business Analysis
  • 3 - 5 years accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance) or working towards an Accounting qualification
  • Experience in the delivery of accurate and timely information
  • The ability to understand key drivers of Business and how KPI’s support these
  • Proven ability in working proactively and autonomously
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written, verbal and conceptual
  • Experience in Accounting applications such as Pronto, Sage, Accpac, Hyperion, CRM.  BI Tools such as Phocas, Power BI
  • Strong Excel and Data Modelling Skills
